FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

These are the some of the most frequently asked questions. If you have any other questions, or need more details please don't hesitate to contact me.

Q. If I go on holiday and leave my dogs at home, can you walk them?

Unfortunately I cannot. It is a requirement for you to have in place a suitable environment for your pets to be cared for. It is against the law to to simply leave your dogs at home without supervision whilst you go away.

Q. Do my dogs get a full 1 hour or 1/2 hour walk?

Yes they do. You pay for the full hour or 1/2 hour walking slots, the extra time if needed for collection and drop off is costed into my walks.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

Q. Are all dogs suitable for walking?

Walks are only suitable for the average friendly family dog. I will not walk any aggressive dogs, or those registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act, or those that  pull excessively.

Q.How is billing and payment handled?

For a one off service a 25% fee will be required at our Initial Assessment, the balance will be required on the day of the  last day of service.

For regular customers an invoice will be given to you at your last service of the week. I will accept cash or this can be paid via BACS. Please ask for a form.

Payment is due within 7 days from receiving the invoice. Late payments will be subjected to a late fee (50p per day).  If paying by cash please place cash in a sealed envelope with your dog's name and the week written on the front. (i.e. Harley - Week commencing 29th August 2017)

 

 Q. Are you available evenings, weekends and bank holidays?

 

My working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 16:00pm throughout the year.

I do not work on Bank Holidays or Weekends. Bank holidays by special arrangement only and charged at double hourly day rate.

Q. Do I have to give you a set of keys to our home?

I would prefer to use a secure key box, however most people do get a key cut. 
Under no circumstances will I ever label your key with your address, or have your secret code saved with your address. All keys are kept in a locked fireproof cabinet.
